digital short film trilogy
“the camcorder series” is a loosely intertwined sequence made out of three consecutive short films.
They were made using the artists’ old family camcorder, which was also used to document all of their childhood memories in the past.
All videos are detailing cognitive processes, but widely differ in visual language and thematic focus.
“eh” tries to highlight subconscious data transfer between motor function and conscious reaction.
“Ein Glas Wasser, bitte!” visualizes the space between awakeness and dream in an associative way.
“Epilog” demonstrates an active conscious state led by fear (and its’ causes).
